PomPom

This is a product design and branding project for a fashionable women’s accessory subscription box. The desire to easily access materials on a whim, has created a niche market for women who want to stay up to trends. For this project, I designed the logo, product, and introduction cards for the brand while taking inspiration from young and trendy styles. I managed the production at all steps including the photography, obtaining materials, getting swatches, and working with a vinyl producer.

GLI court reporter

Here is a logo, brand identity, and business card design made for a court reporter looking for a modern update that would stand out amongst competitors. I delivered 3 different options for logos with several applications in situations where the logo would be used. The final logo, shown here, derives from the unique shape of the keys on the keyboard a court reporter uses, called a stenograph.

PRichard Art Gallery

This is a logo redesign for an art gallery in Moscow, Idaho. This update uses clean, basic shapes for the wordmark. It reflects the quiet nature of the art gallery, but also has punchiness so it is remembered. I made this logo to be minimalistic so that the art in the gallery could stand out, while the logo can also be long lasting. There are two iterations of this logo. One is a stand-alone, and another to work in concert with its parent organization, the University of Idaho.

Quinta

This is a wordmark design and branding project made simply from the word “quinta.” Quinta was a random word plucked out of a dictionary, and by seeing the definition and history behind the word “quinta,” I designed a fictitious business starting with little information. I then developed it further to a level where it could become fully functional business and brand.

ReadY Made patterns

This is a series of three patterns created with fast food packaging from McDonald’s, Taco Bell and Panda Express. It was created using the directional designs that are already in fast food packaging to expose the potential beauty in the everyday product, while considering the implications of stigma attached to those who eat these products.

DownStream

This is a branding and app design project for Northwest rafters. It helps them find the perfect class rapids and best camping spots in the area. It is based off of apps like Yelp with rating systems and reviews, and combines elements from apps like Instagram with the friending and posting features. This app is designed to be practical for rafters in determining best rafting trips based on the willingness to drive, giving directions to the drop off or pick up, rafting skill level, and the weather. This project is heavily based on user experience

Others

This is a design project created from the labels people give plus the visuals of a person’s own identity. Together it makes a whole culmination of a person. The inspiration for this project came from studying sociology and finding out how labeling a person greatly impacts one’s life and my personal experiences.
