About me
Growing up I was always a creative person, which is probably because there is not much to do in Boise, Idaho. However, I kept myself busy in drawing, painting or doing anything I could to spin into art. Even in classes like history, science, or reading, I would take homework assignments and turn them to an art project even if it did not have to be. In junior high and high school I only ever took creative classes for my electives such as drawing, painting, yearbook, videography, and multimedia design. Once I got into college in 2016, it was a given I would major in art, but more specifically, I was leaning towards digital art because I picked up an interest in computers through my love of pop culture. I settled on graphic design and as I studied the history of art and the social movements that followed it, I started taking more classes in human sciences. I ended up graduating winter of 2020 with a degree in graphic design as well as sociology. As of lately, I’ve been on the hunt for a career that would be interesting, fulfilling, and keep me growing as a person.
Recent work
My latest work has been focused on working in Procreate due to a new addition in my art supplies. I have been learning how to use an iPad to better my skills in graphic design, and I am learning new things everyday. The image pictured above was made in Procreate.
